TCSO Investigating Domestic Violence Homicide on Runnel Ridge Road
At 9:48 pm on February 10, 2022, TCSO and Manor PD responded to an Assist EMS call in the 11300 block of Runnel Ridge Rd. Upon arrival, deputies found Russell Todd Howard, 51 of Manor with a gunshot wound. Manor officers arrived on scene first and began CPR. They were relieved by EMS staff; however, life savings measures were unsuccessful.
Howard’s partner, Michael Todd McKee was the 911 caller who reported the shooting. McKee was interviewed by detectives, and later taken into custody. He was booked into the Travis County Jail at 3:31 am February 11, 2022, charged with Murder. Bail is set at $250,000.
This is the fourth homicide investigation for TCSO this year.
