Securus Phone Account

This service allows for the creation of a prepaid calling account, allowing you to manage how much you spend on incarcerated individual calling. Please visit the Securus website to create an account.

Collect Calls

Collect call phones are available in each of the dayrooms. Inmates have access to the phones during morning, afternoon and evening hours. A 20-minute time limit is enforced to allow all inmates access. These phones require the receiver of the call to pay for all calls that are accepted. Please visit the Securus website for more information on rates.

Collect Calls To A Cell Phone

Inmates can make a 15-minute call to a cell phone. The person receiving the call on their cell phone will incur a charge of $9.99 for accepting the call from an inmate. Should you have questions regarding the Securus phone system or phone call charges, please call 800-844-6591 or visit the Securus website.

To prevent unauthorized inmate collect call charges to your phone bill, do not attempt to transfer any inmate call; do not attempt to conference call another number; and do not call forward your phone. If you feel you have been a victim of fraudulent inmate collect call charges, contact your local telephone service provider. You may also contact Securus at 800-844-6591 to block any calls originating from the Travis County Jail to your phone.

Open an account with Securus' Inmate Connections and begin accepting calls on your home or cell phone.

Phone Cards

As an alternative to collect calls, inmates can also purchase phone cards for $10 or $20 through Commissary. Phone cards can be used to reach cell phones, can always be carried, and can be used outside the facility when the inmate is released.
