Visit an Inmate

Effective immediately: Pursuant to Executive Order (GA-25), in person contact visitation is suspended.

Public visitation at ALL facilities within the Travis County Sheriff’s Office where inmates are housed is suspended until further notice to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This is a precautionary measure to protect staff, inmates, volunteers and visitors from potential exposure to the coronavirus.

Access will be allowed for attorneys and essential visitors. These visits will be Non-Contact. The visitation area will be sanitized upon completion of each visit.

We encourage visitors to utilize the Securus Video Visitation System as an alternative method to connect with inmates. Our top priority is ensuring the safety of our inmates, their loved ones, and our staff.

Per Jail Standards: ALL Law Enforcement officials and parole personnel will continue to be allowed to conduct interviews/have visits to carry out their duties.

SECURUS DISCOUNTS: Home Video Visits will continue to be $2.50 per visit until April 1, 2021. Attorney Video Visits will remain the same (no charge).
