Senior Deputy Vince Cain
After leaving the military, Vince began his career with the county in 2005 as a Corrections Officer. During his time in the Corrections Bureau, he worked in a variety of specialized units to include Complex Security, the Correctional Tactical Unit, and as an instructor at the Training Academy. In 2011, Vince joined the Law Enforcement Bureau as a patrol deputy. Prior to joining the TCSO Recruiting Team, he served the past five years as a member of the SWAT team. During his time on SWAT, Vince created and taught Critical Incident Response to Active Shooter Incidents to school districts within Travis County. He is also an Adjunct Instructor for the SWAT team and the Training Academy.
Senior Corrections Officer Julia Carrillo
Julia has been a member of the TCSO family since December of 2008. She spent her first few years working primarily with the female inmate population at the Travis County Correctional Complex. Before joining the Recruiting Unit in 2017, Julia worked several years with the Hospital Visitation Unit and Prisoner Transportation team. She graduated from the DPS Fitness Institute in 2016, which fueled her passion for fitness. Julia received her Basic Peace Officer license in 2019, and is an adjunct instructor for the training academy, teaching Fitness and Wellness classes to our newest LE Cadets. When not working, Julia enjoys travelling, working on her yard, and watching movies with her Great Dane Goose.
Senior Deputy Charles "Chucky" Williams
Chucky has been part of the TCSO family since March of 2005. He spent his first few years as Corrections Officer where he was assigned to Building 1 and Complex Security at the Travis County Correctional Complex. While assigned to Complex Security, Chucky was a member of the Correctional Tactical Unit In June of 2008, he transferred to the Law Enforcement Bureau as a patrol deputy. While on patrol he prided himself in volunteering for numerous assignments such as helping each year with the Travis County Brown Santa Program which provides Thanksgiving and Christmas meals and gifts to families in Travis County. As a patrol deputy Chucky trained our newest deputies as a Field Training Officer. Additionally, he has been a member of our Special Response Team since 2008, where he was able to participate in the deployment to Jefferson County to assist during the Hurricane Harvey aftermath. Prior to joining the TCSO Recruiting Team, Chucky was on the Highway Enforcement and Accident Team for three years. During his time there, he acted as an Adjunct Instructor for the Training Academy teaching traffic stops for our new cadets. As a recruiter, he is actively searching for candidates to join this AWESOME TCSO Family!
