FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July 25, 2025 July 5 Flood – Updated Decedent List On July 16, the body of a man was located under the Big Sandy bridge as debris removal was being conducted. The decedent has been positively identified as Gary Alton Traugott, 60 of Leander. Tuesday’s joint operation by TCSO’s Lake Patrol Unit, Houston Police Department’s dive team, Texas Parks & Wildlife and Jonestown Police Department in the waters of Cow Creek did not result in the discovery of any additional victims.
