TCSO Investigating Armed Robbery at Fireworks Business

At 11:55 pm on July 4, 2022, a 911 caller reported that he was robbed, and they shot at him. The caller also reported that he had shot one of them. Deputies responded to a fireworks business in the 100 block of West Howard Lane.

Employees of the fireworks business reported they were robbed at gunpoint by two subjects. According to their statements, both men were wearing all black, with masks and one was wearing a beanie. One of the employees reportedly fired his weapon and hit one of the suspects.

Deputies conducted a methodical search of the surrounding area and at 12:17 am on July 5, 2022, discovered a Hispanic male with multiple non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, hiding behind a residential fence less than half a mile from the scene of the robbery. He was transported to a local hospital and is in TCSO custody.
