TCSO Working Homicide on Cameron Rd.
At 7:21 p.m. on August 5, 2026, deputies responded to a reported shooting in the 15900 block of Cameron Rd.
TCSO’s investigation up to this point indicates that an altercation between known individuals took place inside the residence. Shots were fired resulting in two of the individuals sustaining gunshot wounds. One of the involved parties immediately transported the injured individuals to a local hospital.
One of the gunshot victims died at the hospital at 10:51 p.m. and the other was in critical condition as of the early morning hours of August 6, 2026.
TCSO’s investigation is active. No arrests have been made at this time, but everyone involved has been identified and is accounted for. This was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
