We invite you to join us and our fellow Law Enforcement Torch Run® officers in support of children and adults with intellectual disabilities in our community as we begin the run at the Austin American Statesman, down Congress Ave. up to the Texas State Capitol south steps, concluding with a press conference.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run® will bring the torch through Austin on its route through Texas. The Law Enforcement Torch Run® for Special Olympics is the largest public awareness vehicle and grass-roots fundraiser for Special Olympics. Known as Guardians of the Flame, law enforcement members and Special Olympics athletes carry the Flame of Hope into the Opening Ceremony of the Summer Games. 

The Summer Games will be held May 12-15, 2022 at Morgan's Wonderland in San Antonio.
