Tentative Date Announced for a 2008 Academy The next Basic Peace Officer Course (BPOC) will be announced later this year. The BPOC class will be a four days a week (Tuesday through Friday), from 730am until Noon, with some Saturday classes. BPOC will prepare candidates for TCLEOSE testing. Applications for those wishing to attend the day academy must be received no later than Nov. 1, 2008. Any individuals specifically interested in joining the Reserve Unit should email Joellyn Brelsford. Tentative Date Announced for a 2010 Night Academy Plans are being made for a Basic Peace Officer Certification (BPOC) Night Academy to begin in 2010. Classes are tentatively scheduled for Monday through Thursday, from 6-10pm, with additional classes on some Saturdays. Classes will likely run from January to October, in order to provide the 660 + hours required by TCLEOSE. If you are interested in more information, please email Joellyn Brelsford.
