Fishing Derby
Everyone who came out to the 2007 Fishing Derby had a great time.

Thank you to our sponsors and everyone who helped make this year's event a huge success!

Next Fishing Derby will be April 5, 2008

Granny's House
Sheriff Hamilton, TCSO and the community
have come together to rebuild a home for
Mrs. Geneva Houston who has lived in
east Austin since 1961 and who we have
come to affectionately know as "Granny."
The house was in very poor shape
and the Sheriff has worked with many folks
in Austin to rebuild her a new home.
Just in time for Mother's Day 2007, Granny received the keys to her new home.

The Austin Film Festival and the Travis County Sheriff’s Office are happy to announce the student winners of the Teen Dating Violence Public Service Announcement (PSA) contest. The winning films were played on local TV, and screened at the Austin Student Filmmaking Expo in April. Winning filmmakers also received Sweet Leaf Tea, Freebirds Burritos and passes to the 2007 Austin Film Festival.
