Travis County Sheriff’s Office is a proud chapter of Students Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE), a national, school-based organization created by students for students promoting the virtues of peace, civility and non-violence by helping students of all ages learn respect and conflict management. SAVE’s mission is to decrease the potential for violence in schools and communities by promoting meaningful student involvement in efforts to provide safer environments for learning. The Community Outreach Unit’s implementation will focus on Travis County schools.
