At 3:22 PM on July 28, 2018 TCSO deputies responded to an assist EMS call in which it was reported that a swimmer had gone under water and not resurfaced in the area of Devil’s Hollow on Lake Travis. Rescue efforts were unsuccessful and at 4:05 PM, the call became a recovery mission.

As the TCSO Dive Team was being contacted and assembled, a civilian deep sea diver, who was in the area, geared up and dove into the water where the man was last seen. He was able to find the body.
