One out of five children have a diagnosable mental health need. Unfortunately, not every child receives mental health services. Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day is an annual event hosted by the Texas System of Care, the Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health at the University of Texas at Austin, and Texas Health and Human Services Commission, along with TCSO and many wonderful local partners. Our goal is to promote positive youth development, resiliency and recovery along with transformation of mental health services for adolescents and their families.

We invite you to join TCSO at the 2019 Children's Mental Health Awareness Day celebration.
