Sheriff’s Detective Looking For Shooting Suspect

On February 16, 2014, at 2:15am, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the XTC Mens Club, at 3501
Andtree Blvd., and found that one of the security guards working for the club had been shot in
the leg. Witnesses said that a man in a red Dodge pickup truck fired several times from his truck
as he left the area following an altercation when the security guards told him to leave.
Sheriff’s Detectives investigated and identified the suspect as;
Jose Eustacio Mora, Date of Birth 6-4-1984,
of Austin. Mr. Mora now has a warrant for Aggravated Assault with a
Deadly Weapon, bond of $40,000.00, and he also has a warrant for a
Probation Violation regarding a Possession of Controlled Substance charge
from the 299th District Court. The red pickup he was in at the time of the
shooting has been impounded by Sheriff’s Detectives.
