The Travis County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with People Against Violent Crime and the criminal justice community, will host the 23nd annual Tree of Angels on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 6:30 PM. The service is hosted by Central Christian Church located at 1110 Guadalupe Street, Austin, Texas.
Tree of Angels was first held on December 3, 1991, in response to a desire to help victims of violent crime find some comfort during the holiday season. For twenty-two years, law enforcement, advocates, the criminal justice community, and those who have suffered loss have come together to honor and remember their loved ones during this annual event. Tree of Angels has offered a special time of remembrance while providing comfort, support and peace for thousands of victims across Texas and Oklahoma and has expanded across the ocean to include Australia.
