Pink Fire Trucks from across the United States will convoy to the Travis County Correctional Complex and join forces with Travis County Sheriff’s Office on October 13, 2015 in a show of support for women fighting any form of cancer.

At 10:00 AM, a press conference will be held and Sheriff Hamilton will explain the initiative and the impact of the mission statement,

“In this family, no one fights alone.”

Cancer survivors and patients will attend as honored guests and Pink Heals representatives will lend their support to the campaign. The press conference will culminate with the unveiling of a Travis County Sheriff’s Office patrol car that has been wrapped in pink and named in honor of Madeleine Frady, who battled cancer and passed away in 2011 at the age of 9. Madeleine was the daughter of TCSO employee Heather Stan.

Upon completion of the press conference, lunch will be served and participants will be invited to hang out and enjoy live music and desserts.

The press will be welcome to conduct one-on-one interviews with select guests and Pink Heals representatives.
