34th Annual National Night Out

National Night Out is an annual community-building event that promotes law enforcement-community partnerships. By hosting a National Night Out block party with your neighbors, you make your neighborhoods safer and take a step toward preventing crime in the future.

The Travis County Sheriff’s Office Celebrates National Night Out in order to enhance the relationship between neighborhoods and law enforcement. Participation involves anything from turning your porch light on to hosting block parties, cookouts or other community events with safety demos, youth events, and visits from law enforcement representatives.

As in years past, the Sheriff’s Office is participating in the 34th Annual National Night Out. It is a fact, that neighbors' watching out for each other is an excellent crime prevention tool. This annual event is a great way to get out of the house, meet your neighbors and interact with law enforcement representatives!

How Can I Participate?

There are two ways that you can participate in National Night Out 2017!

Saturday, September 30 - Attend the kick-off event

Tuesday, October 3 - Have a block party with your neighbors

Kick-Off Event

Join us for a neighborhood kick-off event on September 30 from 11:00am - 3:00pm at Northtown Park in Pflugerville. We will bring our specialized units, a K-9 demonstration, vin etching and more! You can find the event information HERE.

Neighborhood Events

On Tuesday, October 3, 2017, from 5pm to 9pm, there will be block parties going on all over Travis County. If there aren't any parties in your neighborhood, you are encouraged to turn on your porch light to show support.

Registration for this year's National Night Out is closed so that we can schedule Travis County Sheriff's Office representatives to visit block parties.
