You must have already completed your PreEmployment Screening Checklist and confirmed your testing appointment PRIOR to testing. If you have any questions or concerns you should contact one of the Background Investigators well in advance of your testing appointment date.

Job Specific Test - Corrections Officer
Applicants for Corrections
Officer must complete the following course within 3 minutes &
30 seconds:
NOTE: Applicants will get three attempts at each obstacle. Failure to clear the obstacle within three attempts will disqualify the applicant from the job specific testing. If it appears that an applicant is injured, they will be stopped and not allowed to continue.
Testing for Law Enforcement Deputies is held twice a year.

Law Enforcement
Deputy Exam
The Law Enforcement Deputy Exam is designed to evaluate the candidate’s
ability to think and reason by testing the applicant’s basic skills
in map reading, memory, math and grammar. There are several study guides available
to assist with preparation for this type of exam. Specifically recommended
is POLICE OFFICER EXAM 2ND EDITION-The Complete Preparation Guide (ISBN#
1-57685-441-8). It is available at most bookstores and can be purchased at
the applicant’s expense.
