This year’s annual Fishing Derby was Saturday, April 5 at the Travis County’s East Metropolitan Park, 18701 Blake-Manor Road, Manor, Texas. Boys and girls between 7 and 14 enjoyed a day of fun and fishing where they learned fishing techniques; saw displays from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department; met law enforcement, canine and SWAT officers; and served a complimentary lunch of hot dogs, catfish, french fries and snacks.
