The Travis County Sheriff’s Office is inviting residents and business owners of Travis County to provide additional perspectives on how their area can be better served by local law enforcement. “Citizen Feedback and community policing are an integral part of law enforcement today,” Sheriff Greg Hamilton said. “Extra eyes and ears from neighbors of each neighborhood can provide an increasing amount of assistance to create safer communities for all of us.” Surveys are now available on the TCSO website, www.tcsheriff.org, where links, as well as a map feature will allow residents to click on their location to select the appropriate survey. The results of this survey will let Command staff and deputies know how we’re doing, where we are doing well and where we need to improve. We strive for the highest performance standards, and all information will be used to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of our services.
